Refund policy

At WebVault, we want buyers to have confidence when purchasing digital products through our marketplace. Because all products sold on WebVault are digital, refunds are handled according to the circumstances of each purchase and applicable consumer law.

When a refund may be available

A refund may be considered where:

  • The product is materially different from its listing or description.
  • The product is defective or does not function as advertised.
  • The buyer receives the wrong product or files.
  • The purchased files cannot be downloaded or accessed and the issue cannot be resolved.
  • A duplicate purchase was made accidentally.
  • The seller is unable or unwilling to provide a product that was purchased.
  • Another issue exists where a refund is required under applicable law.

Where possible, buyers should first give the seller a reasonable opportunity to resolve technical problems before requesting a refund.

When a refund may not be available

Refunds will normally not be provided where:

  • You simply change your mind after receiving or accessing the digital product.
  • You purchased the wrong product without reviewing the product description or requirements.
  • The product is incompatible with your system where the compatibility requirements were clearly stated before purchase.
  • You lack the technical knowledge required to use, install or configure the product.
  • You no longer need or want the product.
  • You request a refund because a third-party service, software update or external platform has changed.
  • You have violated the product licence or WebVault's Terms of Service.

These conditions do not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact the seller or WebVault Support and provide:

  • Your order or transaction information.
  • The name of the product.
  • A clear explanation of the problem.
  • Screenshots, error messages or other relevant evidence where appropriate.

We may ask the buyer and seller for additional information before making a decision.

Refund decisions

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. WebVault may approve, reject or request further information regarding a refund request.

Where a refund is approved, access to the purchased product and any associated licence may be revoked.

Refund processing

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. The time required for the funds to appear depends on the payment provider or financial institution.

Seller responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that:

  • Their product descriptions are accurate.
  • Advertised features are included and functional.
  • Product requirements and compatibility information are clearly stated.
  • Buyers receive the files and licences advertised.
  • Reasonable support is provided where support is included with the purchase.

WebVault may take action against sellers who repeatedly provide misleading, defective or unauthorised products.

Abuse of refunds

WebVault reserves the right to restrict accounts that abuse the refund process, including repeated fraudulent claims, chargeback abuse or attempts to retain access to products after receiving a refund.
